Doctor did a stress test, ekg, blood work and cat scan but found nothing. I'm very puzzle because the pain (but pressure feelings) is still there.

Answers:

hi,
Did you get a diagnosis from the ekg at all or was it normal by the time you got there? If they can "catch" you in a flutter on the monitor they can give you a diagnosis such as SVT or Atrial Fibrillation or Ventrical Tach, etc. I ask this because I know if they don't see it, they don't believe it.
If you have had a A-Fib that just converts before they see it the pain and pressure in your chest is not unusual. Even in a fast SVT some people have discomfort for a couple of days after they convert.
Stress tests, cat scans, and even blood work would be normal if you are experiencing an arrhythmia. Did they do an echo? Those also turn up normal sometimes, but sometimes the mitral valve will give a clue to diagnosis.

And I am going to tell you something that you really need to hear. You are not nuts. I believe you. I know you did not imagine this.

I would suggest you watch the caffiene intake and be sure to get enough sleep. Plus if you are experiencing a fluttery feeling, get a bag of ice and lay it on your neck veins or your chest. As strange as it sounds that does convert some people. Another thing is to jump into a super cold shower. That will also convert some people.

I hope they find the problem soon. And don't worry too much if you can help it. Most problems of this nature are easily controllable and do not shorten life expectancy at all. And you DO NOT have cardiomyopathy. They would have found that. You did not have a heart attack. They would have found that. The most logical explanation would be an electrical disturbance. You will be ok.
