Please help - currently in the midst of food poisoning - anything to make this l!

Question: Please help - currently in the midst of food poisoning - anything to make this less awful!?
At 7pm I started to violently vomit and ever since then was vomiting every 15 minutes and then this was joined by diarrhoea and now since for the last 12 hours it has been both together (at the same time)!. I have called NHS Direct and the nurse thinks it is Staphylococcus Bacteria food poisoning (most likely caused by bad mayonnaise) which should clear within 24 hours - she has advised to drink as Much water as I can and eat carbs (plain toast rice etc) however Im just so scared of doing this now as everytime I eat or drink it just comes straight back up again!. There is literally nothing left in my stomach and its just the water and bread that comes up and out (sorry - both ends) this is so awful and the worst part is I have a flight in 24 hours time for 12 HOURS!!!!!!!!! Please help I just want to crawl up and die right now but need to get better quickly any advice to make this less awful should I make myself eat and the more sick I am the quicker this is over!?!?!?

Toast is known as the BRAT diet for somebody suffering from diarrhoea/food poisoning!. If you can't keep anything down then don't push your body to accept food - just wait until you feel a bit better!.

Try to get some probiotics - better in capsule form - buy from the health food store!.

Drink plenty of plain fluids

Rest as much as possible

Hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to drink or else the vomit will occur more, see when you vomit and diarrhea, tyour body will become dehydrated, when it is, you will throw up if you dont drink water, but if you have sprite, anything with carbonation it will help your stomach keep it down, and try a few crackers if you can, good luck and feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you should attempt to eat just yet!. Sip tepid water, place a hot water bottle on your stomach to help bring some relief from cramps, Pepto Bismal is very good and I found Lucozade was very helpful in taking away the horrid taste and also giving my body back some of the salts and vitamins it had lost!. Complete rest for at least one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you poor thing!.!. I can't offer any helpful advice !.!. all I can do is offer sympathy !.
I sincerely hope you get better soon and can enjoy your flight!.

Just do sips, I know it's awful, but you will dehydrate if you drink nothing!. Some of the water will get used!. As for the toast, I wouldn't!. You might even try getting some pediaylte (not sure of spelling) It has the electrolytes your body is losing!. drink sips of it instead of water!. It will also give the carbs!. Good luck!. If it really is food poisoning then it will be over soon!. Until then, hang in there!. There is a medicine that will stop the vomiting!. There is an over the counter one and a prescription one!. The pharmacist will know the name, I've forgotten it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

after vomiting, you need to rest stomach for a 15-30", then start slowly with liquid jello, no water, it will trigger vomiting, can try small tsp of broth,, just NO WATER, tea is ok ,no milk, if can tolerate, inc small amount over 10-15 minutes, teaspoon only, let rest, try to advance diet to BRATT diet, bananas, rice, apple(sauce) tea and toast!.
My mother used to give me burnt, blackened toast to calm my stomach!. the BRATT diet is for diarrhea!. if you have Gatorade, small amts only!. try heat pad on abdomen!. Again, NO WATERWww@Answer-Health@Com
