Medicine to cure a rash?

What are some otc, or over the counter treatments and creams to cure to remove a rash? I want to be sure that its not a long period rash so I may try some creams before I go visit a docter? What are some good treamtents that you can buy a grocery store like Walgreens or CVS or Wal-mart?

Its not from any allergy, its probably from a animal or the enviroment. I took 7 showers in one day and it still itches

For basic over the counter creams, try Cortaid. If, you have itching, take some Benadryl (antihistamine). If, it doesn't clear up within the week, call your doctor.
