Answers:

It sounds like a yeast infection. There are products you can get from the store. There are seven-day products, three-day products, and one-day products. Although the seven-day products take longer, I personally have had problems of irritation with the three and one day products. But to each their own. Some people do fine with any of them. Eating yogurt has been known to help with the healing too.
DO NOT DOUCHE! This product was invented by a man who didn't like the way women vaginas smelled.
Douches are a vinegar mixture that is squirted up into the vagina. It's supposed to keep the vagina clean but it also washes away the natural and necessary bacteria and lubrications that the woman's body makes to keep itself healthy. Douching is a very common cause of yeast infections. Also, if used after sex to wash out semen, it's been known to simply push the sperm further inside the body, making the trip to fertilizing the egg quicker.
