Question: Pericing while on Antibiotics!?
I was supposed to get my naval pierced this weekend, before going to Massachusetts for the holidays!. Unfortunately I was recently put onto antibiotics for a sinus infection!.
I don't know if I should go ahead with the piercing or wait until I'm off the drugs!?

What antibiotic, specifically!?
Some broad-spectrum antibiotics can have negative effects on clotting factors; I think this won't really apply in your case though, as this side-effect usually manifests only in long-term treatment!.
In fact, whatever antibiotic you're on will probably provide some protection from some common bacterial pathogens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
