Question: Is it bad to take an anti depressent!?
my doctor prescribed me "elavil" for chronic headaches ive been getting!.I take one 10mg everyday!.he said the pill will help me relax and ease the headaches!.So is this bad for my body to take this if im not depressed!?
and can anyone tell me there experience with this medicine!?

It is not bad for ur body!. Elavl I also take ONLY at night cause IT will make u sleepy!. I take cymbalta and elavil for fibromyalgia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your doctor would not have prescribed this if he thought is was "bad" for you!. That is not what they do - they try to help people based on what symptoms they are complaining about!. When starting a new medication, if often takes at least 2 weeks for the side effects (sleepiness) to go away!. You might talk with your doctor about whether you can switch it to nighttime dosing!.
