I know it's hard to do,but try not to think about it to much!.When you have a craving, get stubborn and don't give in!.It will get easier in time!.You can do this!.I smoked my first cigarette at age 9 and my last one 2!.5 years ago at age 52!. If I can do this anyone can!.Good luck and fight like hell to stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, i just quit a month ago, and yes i have messed up and had a few puffs here and there, we just make mistakes but don't ever give up!

You just keep trucking, avoid places and things that you associated with smoking, like the bars you went to when you smoked etc!. Also avoid booze for a while, i found drinking shortly after i quit made it REALLY difficult!.

I suggest the nictotine inhaler too, it has the hand and mouth thing and isn't as expensive as the patch!.

Drink a lot of water, it will help the cravings and detoxify you!.

Excerise is a great replacement, when you smoke your brain releases endorphins which make you feel relaxed, the same chemicals come out when you run or work out!. Try to reward yourself with pampering or just buying something (you save a lot of money)

Try and think positive, remember why you quit, every day remember why you quit!.

Also, search "lung cancer" or "quit smoking" on youtube, you'll never go back!.

Congrats on your choice to be healthy! the benefits will be great!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you!. I quit smoking three years ago using this method:

I smoke and chewed 4mg nicotine gum!. Sometimes at the same time!. Then after a while, once I got used to the gum, I would only use a piece of gum when I wanted a smoke!. I set a date and cut out the smoking for good!. You'll be somewhat cranky for about two weeks, but if you chew the gum, it squashes the crankiness dramatically!.

After three months of not smoking, you'll wonder why you ever did!. I can't stand cigarettes now and think it's a terrible habit!. I've saved over 1200 a year just by quitting!.

Try my method; it definitely worked for me and stopping cold turkey is very hard to do!.

Good luck and you're making a great lifestyle change!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been smoke free for almost a year and a half!. These are some of the things I did!. I pasted this from a thing I made up for my aunt!.
