Help with small child. Vomiting for 8 weeks. Help!?

Hello all. My 2 year old sister was "diagnosed" with Rotavirus about 2 1/2 months ago. It seemed strange to me, I am a medical student and thought it odd. She had no diarrhea, one of the huge factors in diagnosing Rotavirus. She has been vomiting on and off for all of that 2 and a half months. The pediatrician says it's still Rotavirus. And still there is no diarrhea or fever. I thought it may be Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome but where she is only 2 the doctors refuse to believe that's what it is. Any ideas? Anyone had anything similar?! Hii hon I agree with second opinions. But I feel you are searching for that right answer. I had a son whom spewed the day he was born until now at 17. I found he had an unusual build up of gas (greater than us normal people). I tried everything and came across plain lemonade the cheap brand not hot not cold and not really fizzy or it wont work (if it is put a dab of sugar in). About 10ml 1/2hour from a meal. You will find it should ease. The wind comes up and the stomach is settled.
