Answers:
you could be allergic to some ingredient in it

it could dry out your skin to the point that you break out more (products that are too harsh in drying out your skin can do that - sometimes salicylic acid products have done that to me)

it could have nothing to do with the medication - if you only used it last night and haven't used it for a while other than that one night, it could be that you already had infections under the surface of your skin that just showed up (above the surface) today!. many acne medications are more preventive than curative!.

it could have some oil or oil-like compound (it won't be called an "oil" in the list of ingredients but there are other compounds that are similar - if you see "oleo" or "olefin" in any of the chemical names, that's one clue!.!.!.there are many others as well) in it!. some acne medications do!. some people do not react to them, while others do!. my skin reacts to oil in any form so I have to find completely oil-free products!.

try clearasil ultra!. it helps and doesn't cause further breakouts!. and use a neutrogena oil-free moisturizer on your face as well, to keep your skin from drying out so much that your acne gets worse!. don't use astringents - they are classic for leading to such dryness that more acne results!.

i really hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
