What can i eat with a wheat allergy?
My dr thinks im allergic to either wheat or eggs so i have to stay off of them both for a week to see if the hives all over my face neck back and legs go away. im out of the house alot so normally i just have a special k bar or a poptart sometimes weet thins and everything but only being able to eat veggies fruit and meat i dont have anyting i can really eat without heating it up other than beef jerkey ( that i cant eat cuz of braces) that i can eat also allergic to seafood and nuts so please dont suggest that.

Hi. Sounds like some limited food choices. If u have that rash you can seek a second opinion and see a dermatologist to get tested for Celiac Disease, a gluten intolerance. A dermatologist can biopsy the skin rash to see if it's Dermatitis Herpetiformis (DH). If it is, u absolutely have Celiac and probably dont need further testing. I ditto the motion, why isnt he just blood testing or skin pricking u? Anyhoo, here are some great sites and info for Gluten Free (which is always wheat free) foods:
