Why do we snore?!

Question:

Why do we snore?

Answers:

We snore because our muscles in our throat, tongue, and soft palate relax once we fall asleep. The sound that you hear when someone is snoring is due to air passing through the mouth and causing vibrations. The more your muscles sag, the narrower your airway becomes, and the louder you snore.
