HELP! no alcohol for 7 days?
ive been prescribed metronidazole by my GP and im not allowed to drink whist taking them. its not your usual 'avoid alcohol' as found on most medicines.apparently it will make me violently sick and give me diarrhoea. although it could aid some fantastic wieght-loss, its a bit grim. anyone else taken these tablets and suffered their side effects? or any tips on how to cope over the weekend?

thanks for the supprt people. and a big thanks to the idiots who assume im an alcoholic ****! i had treatment for pre-cancerous cells in my cervix which left me with an infection, not an std. and most normal people enjoy a nice glass of wine after a hard week at work. so there.

why dont you start to take the pills after the weekend, then when they are finished you can drink again.
