Please help with anal itching ?!

Question: Please help with anal itching !?
Hello,

I'm experiencing a worrisome itch and I'm hoping someone can please help!. About a week ago (1/10/2009) I noticed my anus started itching "out of the blue"!. It continued for a week, not too bothersome during the day; however it would flare up, at some times unbearably, at night!. I checked my stools for the appearance of worms, and did not notice anything from my naked eye!. I was also not bleeding at any time!.

Fast forward to tonight, a week later!. The itching was noticeably worse (actually, from Thursday, 1/15/2009!. Saturday: It has been the worse night!. I lightly felt around the walls of my rectum, and notice bumps close to he anus!. The itching had not subsided, and to top it all off, a small but noticeable rash has formulated on my penis!.

I have been on an all vegetable, fruit, juice diet since January 1st of this year!. I have not had an carbonated beverages, meat, bread, candy or alcohol!. I have had a ton of smoothies and all natural fruit, veggies, whole wheat pasta, etc!.

Socially, I am a heterosexual male and have not engaged in any anal sex!. I had a STD examination a few months prior, and was negative across the board!.

I've tried Preparation H, Colloidal Oatmeal bath, and Witch Hazel Wipes!. They all burn and do nothing to help the itch!.

Can anyone please help, with diagnosis or if this has been experienced!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
i get this from time to time, due to acid, i am on acid medicine daily, but if i eat certain foods or alot of acidity kinds of food i have this problem, try the previous post of hydrocortisone cream it does wonders for me, i have actually been to the doctor with it before when it first started as i was very worried, he told me about hydrocortisone cream, when i have a flair up i rub it all around the area and gently inside, it normally takes a few days but the itching, burning and pain goes away, havent had the problem since i have been taking prevacid like im supposed tooWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you should try some hydrocortisone cream!. There's also spray benadryl that helps with itching!. Make sure you're wiping really thoroughly as well!. If it doesn't subside in about 2 or 3 more days, call you doc!. I know it may be embarrassing but they hear all sorts of things that don't even compare to anal itching!. Your doc could really help you if all else fails!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

You probably have a food allergy!. Get an allergy test from your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
