I just got my colposcopy results yesterday?!


Question:

I just got my colposcopy results yesterday?

and it came out as "high grade". I woke up this morning with 3 kanker sores in my mouth. Does this relate to the HPV virus? I know kanker sores are herpes form of viruses. I get kanker sores all the time because I eat alot of acidity foods but never have I had 3 at once! Ouch!

Answers:

HPV and herpes simplex are unrelated, except for the fact that they're both viruses.

It's kind of like having a broken toe and an acne flare-up at the same time. The stress and pain of the one may have left you more prone to the other, but they're not really related.
