Answers:
between the time you get it and the time you start showing symptoms, it actually takes 4-8 weeks!.
I had it not too long ago!. I was tired!. Sore throat!. Tired to the point I'd sit down and fall asleep almost instantly!.
You need a blood test to know for sure!. Head to the doctors and get one!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yea!.!.!. symptoms are

The initial symptoms of mono are

a general lack of energy or malaise,

a loss of appetite, and

chills!.
These initial symptoms can last from one to three days before the more intense symptoms of the illness begin!. The more common intense symptoms include

a severe sore throat,

fever, and

swollen glands (lymph nodes) in the neck area!.
It is typically the severe sore throat that prompts people to contact their doctor!.

In addition to a fever from 102 to 104 F, the most common signs of mono are

a very reddened throat and tonsils and

swollen lymph glands in the neck!.
The tonsils have a whitish coating in at least one-third of the cases!. The spleen (sometimes referred to as the body's biggest lymph node) is an organ found in the left upper abdomen underneath the rib cage which becomes enlarged or swollen in about 50% of patients with mono!. An enlarged liver may also occur!. About 5% of patients have a splotchy red rash over the body, which has a similar appearance to the rash of measles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to be sure is to visit or call your family doctor!. They may write a perscription for you to have blood work done, called a Mono spot, and EBV titers!. If you're asymptomatic, they may just send you for the bloodwork without being seen!.

If you are having symptoms such as extreme fatigue, deceased appetite, fever, and in some cases, a sore throat, the doc will want to see you!. They may even do a throat culture, because in some cases, strep throat can present much like mono!.

At any rate though, call your doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, when you first contract mono you do not have any symptoms of it for three months!. The symptoms are like having strep throat, your throat hurts, you have a fever, body aches, puss pockets down the throat, swollen glands on your neck and sometimes under your arms, decreased appetite, and overall exhaustion!. Mono stays with you for up to 6 weeks and all you can really do is get antibiotics which will not fight mono but will protect you from any other illness you come near, because when you get mono your immune system crashes!. Once somebody has mono they have it for life, its viral and your body basically builds up an immunity to it and therefore you feel better but you can still give it to others!. Some people however have stronger immune systems and therefore if they do get mono they could possibly never suffer any symptoms!. Once you've built up a tolerance to mono however whenever you get a cold or a small illness your mono will more than likely flare up again, this stops happening after 2-3 years!. Good luck, I hope you don't get it, its horrible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
