Veggie Booty Recall, Salmonella poisoning?!

Question:

Veggie Booty Recall, Salmonella poisoning?

On Monday i had a small package of the veggie booty product and then saw last night that there had been a recall on it! I had a horrible headache on Wednesday and have had on and off stomach aches since yesterday. I haven't had diarrhea but very close to it (not very hard stool, sorry TMI) Should i be concerned? If i have salmonella poisoning will it just go away or do i need to see a doctor? Thanks for your help :)

Answers:

According to the CDC "Most persons infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most persons recover without treatment. However, in some persons the diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized."
