Question: Diabetes Help!!! what can you suggest !?
My 5 year old sister is destroying my family!. my parents are always fighting and i can't take it!. My sister is so stubborn!. It takes her two hours just to eat a bowl of cereal!. how can i get it through her thick head that she has to eat Please help i'm desperate :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the same problem go buy a bucket of candy and little toys and make eating fun if she finishes in 5 minuets she get one prize 9 minuets and so one for all you know she is upset try talking to her ask her whyWww@Answer-Health@Com
I'm sorry to hear that; having a child whose been diagnosed with diabetes can put a family under great strain!. As adult diabetics we understand the need for medication and good glucose control through diet - very young children don't!.

maybe give her less portions of food maybe she gets full then wait a bit until she eats more or if that doesn't help maybe try showing her how to eat faster i taught someone at my old school at 5 to eat a sandwich fast and not eat really slow!. also one more thing is you could try like to help feed her talk to her and say if you eat this and quick and stuff and reward her!. good lookWww@Answer-Health@Com
she's 5 sweetie you cant my daughter is 6 and my 2 yr old runs circles around her eating thats just her dont rush her and she's not destroying your family whatever problems your parents are having is because of them so dont blame her for their arguements she's a babyWww@Answer-Health@Com
