My brother has herpes?!

Question: My brother has herpes!?
i have a nine yr old brother, we recently found out he has herpes simplex 1

we have no idea how he would get it, he doesnt share food with strangers, we doubt hes been going around kissing girls

nonetheless, could the virus be passed on if i kiss him on the cheek!?
we also i have a sister of 2 yrs, can she still share his food!?

how can we prevent the virus from infecting us!?
and maybe what can we do when he has an outbreak!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
there is no way he got it from you kissing him on the cheek!. Simplex 1 is a virus that lays dormant in your body and the blisters are what happen when the virus becomes active!. The break out happen due to increases stress, high fever, certain foods can irritate it!. And it just may be he's had simplex 1 since birth!. Our mothers can pass this to us at birth since it is blood borne virusWww@Answer-Health@Com

DONT TOUCH ANYTHING HE'S TOUCHED!

CHANCES ARE YOU WILL RECEIVE IT!

To fend it off you need to eat a lot of butter, mayonaise, peanut butter, olive oil, margine, sour creams and other similar foods

I wish you the best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

They're just cold sores! I don't have them myself, but well over half the population does!. The main precaution you should take is to avoid kissing him on the mouth and exchanging body fluids, which I doubt will be a problem for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Herpes 1 is not a big deal!.!.!.!.!. 80% of adults have HSV 1, many of them don't know it!.

And the majority of them caught it in childhood!. This is nothing new or really noteworthy!. Many children get it from kissing grandma!. Big deal!.

With HSV 1 you get one outbreak, then you may never get one ever again!.

What makes you so sure you don't have it already yourself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well the doctor should inform your parents about any precautions to take!. You can google it and find some things that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't stress out about it
herpes is nothing to be scared about unless it's extreme
but don't worry don't share food with him and don't kiss himWww@Answer-Health@Com
