If they look like this http://www!.advancedperiodontics!.com/imag!.!.!.

then they are aphthous ulcers!. They can be caused by a chemical irritant, acidic foods, etc!.
Try using a SLS free toothpaste such as Tom's of Maine : http://www!.tomsofmaine!.com/products/toot!.!.!.

Rinse your mouth out very well (especially under your tongue and the front of your teeth) after eating or drinking acidic foods (tomato, salsa, oranges, etc!.)

If those do not work, then you also should be aware that these ulcers are very common in people with celiac disease (gluten intolerance) which is a very common genetic, autoimmune disease (about 1 out of every 100-250 people have it) that is dangerously underdiagnosed, especially in the US!. That might be the only symptom of the disease that you have, many people are asymptomatic!.
If eliminating chemical and food irritants do not clear up this issue, please ask your doctor to order a celiac screening blood panel! Ok! Good luck! I had these for years before I was diagnosed as a celiac!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I haven't used it in a looong time so I forget the name >!.< Go to Wal-Mart and ask someone in the pharmacy about this stuff it's like a liquid bandaid for in your mouth, it's used to cover up ulcers and sores!.

It hurts like hell to put the applicator on your ulcer, but once you do your ulcers are covered in a protective covering that keeps food and other stuff from irritating it, and it works REALLY well!. Once that stuff is on NOTHING will hurt it!.

If its reoccurring and you can't find the source, a specialist (i have no idea what a mouth specialist would be called o!.o) might have the answer for you!. I would just get them from biting the inside of my cheek!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Use Alum from the spices dept of your grocery store and make a paste out of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get these when I was little too from my braces rubbing my mouth!. Warm water and salt rinse helped with the pain and healed them fast!. Then always use a mouthwash to keep your mouth as clean as possible and prevent them from coming backWww@Answer-Health@Com

Try adding lysine supplement and acidophilus to your diet and avoid citrus and acidy foods (tomatoes)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
