ok so i have like this streak of dry skin on the inside of my ankle..my mom said it has been there since i was a baby. i've tried putting lotion on it and stuff but it just won't go away! its like a little patch about 3 1/2 inches long and probably like a 1/2 an inch wide. what can i do to get rid of it? its nothing like visible or anything but i can feel it and it drives me nuts. aha what can i do?

My son had soemthing like this. His pediatrician had me rub Head & shoulders shampoo into every night when he went to bed. Told me if it was a fungal infection it woudl go away.. and what do you know.. it was gone after few days. He had that dry patch for nearly 6 yrs.
