most of the people have this kind of bacteria in their stomach , there is a limit for it if yours is in the average range it is not any problem, but if you have it much more MAYBE you feel stomach problems, the infection in individuals will improve symptoms including dyspepsia, gastritis and peptic ulcers!. The treatment usually is antibiotics like omeprazole , amoxicillin & bismuth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some kinds of gastritis are caused by Helicobacter pyrlori bacteria while others may develop after taking drugs like naproxen, prednisolone etc!., Only by endoscopy that a doctor can tell you the reason behind your gastritis!. Then 3 kinds of drugs are given for a week or two to eradicate the bacteria!. Amoxicillin with either clarithromycin or metronidazole plus a proton pump inhibitor like esomeprazole is given according to BNF!. You should be treated by a gastroenterologist - not by an ordinary doctor !. My gastritis was caused by taking a prednisolone tablet and responds well to antacids!. Cannot be a helicobacter pylori infection!. It can recur if the bacteria finds a way to get into your stomach again!. By the way, many people have this bacteria though it doesn't cause trouble!. It is unlikely that gastritis caused by ordinary means lead to stomach cancer But H!.pylori infection is different!. So treating it without delay is recommended!.Two scientists who discovered this bacterium was awarded nobel prize in the year 2005!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
