Question: Are the effects of smoking the same!?
Hi,
I've started smoking in september but I quit two weeks ago!. I smoked 2 cigarettes a day, 3 tops!. I would like to now if I have to wait 15 years to have the same chances of having lung cancer that a non smoker!?

You didn't smoke long enough to do any lasting damage!. The lungs are amazing at repairing themselves!. One cigar per week is probably ok, but there's still a slim chance of oral cancer with any use of tobacco!. If you can do without it, I say none at all is best!.

My grandfather smoked for 20 years!. He stopped 30 years prior to his death!. Within 6 months of his death he had COPD which is related to smoking
So it makes NO difference!. If you start now and quit there is a chance that you will developed lung disease by the time you are in your 70's or 80's

You'll notice a difference soon!. No more coughing and hacking!. At the level you smoked maybe you have spared yourself the worst of it!.And don't put a timline on your smokking because as you get closer to the date you smoke more!. (just human nature)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
