HELP!! Is this an infection??

I scraped myself on the sidewalk right on my ankle bone. I've had a band aid on it since monday. THere is like a scar around it and like in the middle about the size of the tip of your finger is this white stuff. It feels kinda gooey. What is this?

sounds like puss, which means it's slightly infected, but it's really nothing to worry about, unless you notice it gets worse the next few days.

just wash with soap and water, and keep it clean. don't expose it too much, but the more you let it air out & dry, the quicker it will heal. if you keep it covered ALL the time w/ a band aid or whatever, you're gonna keep the infection festering.
