Are my symptoms possibly from an std like HIV?!

Question: Are my symptoms possibly from an std like HIV!?
I researched on the internet about my symptoms and was not happy to find that some are similar to people with HIV!. I had a sexual encounter and 3 days later I came down with tonsillitis!. I left the state and went on vacation so I just assumed I had caught something on the plane!. If so, I became symptomatic in less than 24 hours!.Is that possible!? The girl I was with never did get sick so I didn't think I caught it from her!. After I got home I came down with a sinus infection and have had it ever since, about 2 weeks total now!. The internet says some people with HIV get soar throats and a dry cough at first, sometimes within a couple days!. Am I being paranoid!? Are my circumstances just an unlucky coincidence!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
This sounds more like a respiratory infection than a STD!.See your health care pro and get tested for the HIV and also for the strep, mono, and other possible causes of your illness!.HIV just will not appear this fast and the test may need to be repeated in a few months but your pro will advise you!.I know a negative test will help put your mind at ease!.Remember the way you you feel now and always use a condom in the future!.Good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just get tested so you don't have to worry about it!. And next time be more careful before having sex with someone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is to early for you to be having symptoms!. People usually go years before they have HIV symptoms!. And even when they get the symptoms, they usually don't know it since the symptoms of HIV mimic the flu!.

I have had HIV for 24 years (since I was born) and I do not have that many problems!. Granted, when I get sick it takes me forever to get better, but for the most part I have no problems!. Your best choice is to get tested!. Go in 3 month from your last sexual encounter!. 98% of people have accurate results by 3 months!. If you test negative at 3 months then go back in at 6 months for a final test!. If you test negative at 6 months then you are fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
