Question: Excessive nose bleeds!. !?
Hi, I'm a seventeen year-old male, and I've had nosebleeds all my life!. I get them almost everyday and sometime more than once a day!. I don't need suggestions on stopping them, cuz by now I'm a pro at that, I want to know if there is any reason that I am getting them so often!. Could it be like a disease or other illness!. (P!.S!. I've watched every "House" episode and they've never done one about nose bleeds!:) )Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be a cyst or polyp, could be a bleeding disorder, most likely it's the result of swelling from allergies, could be from a chronic sinus infection, could even be from high blood pressure or episodes of high blood pressure!. You'd need to visit an ENT to determine the exact cause!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had the same problem as you, my doctor didn't know what it was caused by, he said maybe allergies or the vein in my nose was messed up or something!. he gave me a Nasonex nose spray thing, and after taking that for about two weeks, they went away, and now I only get them occasionally!. Another Option would be having your doctor, um, I think what my doctor said was detach the vein in the nose or something like that!?

I'm a 19 year-old female, and I feel your pain! I've been getting them at least four times a week since I was about five!. I've talked to my doctors about it, and all they can really tell me is that the inside of my nose is dry and cracks and that's why it bleeds (seems like a lame explanation to me, really, but what can you do!?)!. So what I've done is used Q-tips with Vaseline and put the Vaseline on the inside of my nose every once in a while, and it seems to help a little!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
nose bleeds are primarily caused by the drying of the tissue in your nose!. usually this can occur if you take allergy spray medications, because it is drying your sinuses out!. also picking your nose consistently and in a sense "digging in there" can cause them as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
