Could I have Diabetes or Something Else?!

Question: Could I have Diabetes or Something Else!?
For the past few days, I've been experiencing shakiness that typically goes away if I eat something, but returns an hour or so later!. I've been overly tired!. I've had blurred vision (I do have glasses and I wear them as well)!. I've felt a little nausea as well!. My husband thinks I am being paranoid but Diabetes runs in my family as my sister was diagnosed with it when she was 19!. I know I am at risk and yes, I've made an appointment with my doctor!. I have gained some weight in the last few months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its possible!.

Type 2 diabetes can be symptom free for years, but you definately have some of the symptoms!.

The only way to know for sure is to get tested!. Ask your doctor to do an HbA1c test!. Make sure you bring in a list of your symptoms to show him/her!.

The HbA1c test is better than a fasting glucose because it doesn't require fasting, and reflects your average over the last 3 months!.

A normal HbA1c is between 3!.5!. and 5!.5!. If your result is over 5!.5, you have diabetes!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The symptoms you have described are not consistent with undiagnosed diabetes!. Your doctor will be able to put your mind at ease!. When he/she tells you that you don't have diabetes, hopefully you can stop obsessing about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not think paranoid I see you as knowing what some of the symptoms are and being cautious It sounds like a yes but the only way to know for sure is to check your blood sugar levels if you are over 120 two hours after you eat you are diabetic you can help the syptoms by eating a little every 3 hours If you eat meals with a total carb count of 30 - 45 three times a day and have a snack at 15 carbs you will do much better !. you will be ammazed at what makes up carbs 1 serving is 1/3 cup rice or pasta that means 3 servings is all you can have in a meal it is hard but it does keep the sugars more in check and the energy up My friend has to get up and eat during her sleep time because that is when her sugars spikeWww@Answer-Health@Com
