Hospitals are required to keep your x-rays for a certain number of years (usually 7, but it depends on state laws)!. If they provided you with the original, however, you might be out of luck!. But nowadays more and more hospitals use digital x-ray equipment, so they probably have a copy of your radiographs somewhere in their computer database!. they do that because then it is easier to pin-point an object in your body!. also it is so it is easier to find the break and tell the differences in texture (sharp, dull, spaces between breaks, and you can tell between cartilage and boneWww@Answer-Health@Com

You may wish to go to the hospital where this was done and ask the Radiology Department for a copy of your X Rays This can not be done over the phone!.
