Answers:

I think I speak for everyone when I say, I know your pain. My flares usually happen around my period. They are usually brought on by stress, anxiety and for some people types of food. You might want to talk to your doctors about taking an anti-anxiety medication along with what you are taking now. You are young and just dealing with this issue can be stressful. I have tried many "new" medications to help with my flares, which as I have gotten older have been less and less, and I've learned some relaxation techniques to help curb them, or head them off at the pass. The only medication that really has helped me is "Librax", it has been around for a really long time, and it slows everything in your body down, it makes you tired and a little groggy. But at least no pain. I hope this helps. When I feel an attack coming on I usually go into a very dark room, with some soothing music in the background, one of those cold masks on my eyes, and start at my toes telling each part to release the stress and anxiety and pinpoint what is setting me off. Also, I was on a diet of mashed potatos and grilled chicken for a VERY long time. You might try drinking some chicken broth. Good Luck, I hope this helps a little!~
