Can one mild sunburn cause a lot of damage? How do you get rid of it? ?!

Question: Can one mild sunburn cause a lot of damage!? How do you get rid of it!? !?
i went in my friend's pool for about 5 hours in 41 degrees heat, and only put sunscreen on my lower arms!. ( i couldn't be bothered!. By the way, i had a t-shirt/rashie thing on, as well as short board shorts, if that helps!.) When i got home, my face was really red, as well as the bits of arms that my t-shirt rashie didn't cover ( oh, my lower arms were better) , and my thighs turned a pinky colour!. I have NEVER EVER had sunburn before, but it's not peeling or anything so i think it's just mild-ish or something!. Can it cause a lot of damage though!? Can it cause skin cancer!? Oh, and how do you make it GO AWAY faster!? I may be turning into a tomato!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
no it does not cause cancer, even over exposure to sun for many days does not cause skin cancer!! but the possibility is there if you spend a lot of time for months or years without any protection!.

Get one After Sun cream and apply it, also use a moisturizer if the skin is rough and dry!. That is not a serious condition and it should go away in few days time!. good luck and don't worryWww@Answer-Health@Com

Aloe-based products soothe and cool overheated skin!. ALOE VERA is a natural and soothing treatment option for sunburn and tan!. Just pluck a few leaves of the plant, mash them and mix with lemon juice!. Apply all over the affected areas!. It cleanses, clears and nourishes the skin!. Check out
