Is It The Passive Smoke That Is Causing Me to Cough So Much.?!

Question:

Is It The Passive Smoke That Is Causing Me to Cough So Much.?

(Firstly I Have Never Smoked In My Life)

I live (unfortunatly) with my brother and eighteen months ago his girlfriend moved in.
My brother has smoked for years and I have had to put up with his smoke smelling my bedroom and clothes.

His girlfriend moved in (unofficially) who also smokes; I would class them both as chain smokers.

(cut to the chase)

My cough has increasingly got worse over a period of time and I know it may sound an obvious question but do you think the smoke has made my cough worse?

I would like some serious answers please as it is getting to the stage where I need to say something-and I need say fairly concrete proof that the smoking is making me worse (even though I think it is obvious)

Many thanks

Answers:

Yes the smoke is affecting you, and making your cough worse.
There are many studies (available on the net, search "passive smoking") which prove beyond doubt that second hand smoke is a killer.
