Boycotted sunblock?

does anyone else out there not wear sunblock because it make you break out? i dont really spend much time in the sun anymore. im olive complected due to being biracia, however, ive been told that i still need to wear sunblock. but i break out!! acne or wrinkles/skin cancer?

I used to break out because of sunblock as well. But, I've found several brands that I can use on my face without breaking out.

Coppertone has a sheer sunblock stick that is made especially for the face. I bought this at Target last summer, but wasn't able to find it this year. Anyway, is comes in a light green plastic container that you have to twist, and the sunblock stick comes out. That worked really well for me.

Neutrogena also has a similar item - a sunblock stick made especially for the face. I bought one of those this year, and that has worked well for me, too. I got this one from Rite Aid.

I also have facial sunblock made by Aveeno. It comes in a yellow tube, and it specifies that it is "for the face." I got this one from Target.

Make sure you get sunblock that is made specifically for the face. The formulation is different from the one that is used for the rest of the body. You just might find something that you can use without breaking out!

I think it's totally worth it to make an effort to find a brand that works for you. You need to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun. :)
