Is it OK for really sick people or people in terminal phase to get the right to !

Is it OK for really sick people or people in terminal phase to get the right to euthanasia or assist suicide?

I mean that to a certain point, it is the right of the patient that is suffering and dying to chose if he want to stop suffering and ask for euthanasia and not the authorities, that they keep them under drugs to go true their pain without even knowing what is going on.
Think twice who ever says that it is crazy to let people decide rather they live or not when they already suffering are lying!
Cause I would ask for it. And really hope for who ever that is helping me too be relived from my pain not to be accused of murder.

I think it is the patient's right to choose to stop his/her own suffering. I would think that it is a decision not to be made lightly and there should be some counseling involved beforehand.
