I was going to donate my kidney and I found out that I had a lot of protein in my urine so I was turned down?
but I was on my menstral at the time...can that go down or can I change that, please help me because I really want to help my friend...we're compatible...everythings good but that.

You were rejected because the liklihood of you needing both of your kidneys later in life is very high. That is why they run so many tests to determine not only if you are a match, but if you healthy enough to donate. Your being on your menstrual cycle would not have effected the results. Your friend is going to have to find another donor (living or cadaver). It's so wonderful that you were willing to help your friend, but the testing is also designed to protect the willing donor.
