I have had gastroenteritis (gastro) for 3 days and i have been feeling sick, stomach pains, diarrhea (the runs) and i am not getting better!. The only things that are slowly getting better is the diarrhea is slowing down but not getting any thicker!. I don't feel as sick as I did!.
Could the pains that i am getting be period pains!? I haven't got mine yet!. I am running a bit late!. (lucky me :) !. )
The feeling id a dull pain feeling like I need to go to the toilet!. But when I do go there is hardly anything!. It is in my lower part of my stomach!.!.
So what do you think!?
And is there anyway to get better faster from gastroenteritis (gastro) faster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The question here is, why are you having this problem in the first place!?
It sounds very much like food poisoning!.
Try recalling what you ate before it all started!.
In which case, it just has to run its course!. (No pun intended!.)
If you have contracted a virus from someone then that is a different state of affairs!.
In this case if the diarrhea continues, you need to see a doctor!.
Are you running a fever!?
Three days seems kind of long for food poisoning, but it is possible!.
One thing that is very soothing to the gastrointestinal system is something called colostrum!. Available in most places where health supplements are sold!.
Also, sipping chamomile or mint tea will settle the stomach!.
In any case, do not get dehydrated!. It will make things worse, because you will throw off your electrolyte balance!.
