Shooting pains in the lower right abdomen, appendicitis?!

Question:

Shooting pains in the lower right abdomen, appendicitis?

Good morning,

this morning I woke up with little spasms of pain in the right side of my adbomen. It isn't like an unbareable pain or anything like that, just a slight pinch when I move around a bit. I don't feel sick, have a fever, or a hedache which are the normal sympthoms of appenicitis, but I'm not so sure.

Is there a possibility that I still have it? I have a very busy schedual today and will be out and about, what should I avoid or symptoms I should look out for?

Thanks much,
-Wonko

A bit more to add:

I am not on my period nor is it approching.

It doesn't hurt when I push on it.

It is not a constant unbearable pain.

(One more question)
How long does it take for appendecitis to become extreme enough foir medical attention?

Answers:

If its just little spasms, it could just be cramping. If it does not stop, maybe you should see a gyno. I had that same issue, little pains that would get worse from time to time, and not wanting to make a big deal about it or go to the hospital I ignored it. I noticed it would go away for a little while an come right back, until one day in class I went to get out of my chair and felt the most terrible pain in my lower right side- turns out I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. It would have been prevented if I had done something about it right away. Look ovarian cyst up on the net, if you think its what you have, trust me make the appt. Good luck and I hope you feel better!!!
