Inhaling aerosol fumes???
i caught my ex inhaling paint & leather shoe spray aerosol he has been doing this for along time. he says he can hear birds and gets answers. he is killing his brain cells. when married i had him seek help. however, it did not work. could he kill me while doing this?? he gets mean afterwards. i left for two years and im leaving again as this is what he chooses to do. i cant figure out how he is still aciemically smart and has held his job for 30 years?? his personality has changed. he is negative at home. well liked at work and a good worker. his boss brags about him. will this catch up with him?? any doctors or phd~s out there???

You are right for leaving him again. I am not a doctor, nor do I have a PHD, but I think I know enough to say you need to leave him before he makes your life worse. He will end up either killing himself or a brain dead vegetable. Do you really want to take care of a lump of broccoli for the rest of your life? If he gets mean now he will only get meaner, especially when those birds in his head tell him to take you out. I knew of a guy who was like that. His wife was just as bad as he was and both of them would sniff, snort, smoke or inhale anything they could. They were both stoned and he threw his eight month baby down the stairs because it was crying and ruining their good trip. They are both in jail where they both belong. Inhaling fumes is called huffing, and some people will make others inhale the fumes while they are asleep. They think it is fun to get other people stoned in their sleep. Be aware if you are waking up with bad headaches. There are some sick people out there.
Leave running and do not look back. You may want to make sure you are on the insurance policy and it is up to date. You may get stuck with the hospital bills sooner or later.
This may sound harsh, but you need to find a better person who will not ruin your life.
