Could a sore throat, stuffed up nose and cough be caused by allergy's?!

Question: Could a sore throat, stuffed up nose and cough be caused by allergy's!?
Answers:
Sure can!. The allergic reaction causes the swelling in your nasal tissues which leads to the stuffed up nose!. The irritated nasal tissues also produce excess mucus, which drains down the back of your throat and causes sore throats and coughs!.

You can try over-the-counter antihistamines like Benadryl, Zyrcan, etc!. You can also try things like Tylenol-Sinus & Allergy, which also contains a mild pain-reliever!. Lots of saline nasal spray helps keep the irritated tissues moist and the mucus not so thick!. You can also try a Netty Pot if you're *really* stuffed up!. You treat the symptoms of allergies largely the same as you would those of a cold!. If it gets bad, go to your health care provider for a prescription allergy medicine (I take Allegra-D all year round!.!.!.!.)!. And other than that, just figure that spring has it's drawbacks and summer is just around the corner!.!.!.!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Years and years of allergies, myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

absolutely!. you can help this by not sleeping on your back and trying to keep your head kind of elevated (on 2 or 3 pillows) while sleeping!. The mucus in your nose (if caused by allergies) drips back into your throat while you sleep, and then irritates it which will then cause the cough!. Try some OTC allergy medication and see if it helps also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
