How many young people smoke now?

I'm not sure.
I'm 33 so old enough to smoke and old enough to know the risks.
I've had kids come up to me to ask if I'll buy them some cigs from shops. Which I won't. I don't care how cheeky they get.
What bothers me about this banning of smoking in all public places is how is it going to prevent the kids.
They're hardly going to be the ones that are doing their smoking in public places. I mainly see them outside in their little gangs hanging round parks & street corners, smoking there cigs in order to look cool.
Last week I watched that documentary called 'child chain smoker' he was only 13. His Mum was actually buying him his cigs. His attitude astonished me. I suspose he thought he looked 'cool'. I just thought he looked a sad and pathetic little boy.
