Question: Worried About Tonsil Removed!?
Hey Im 15 ( 16 in Nov ) I may need to have my tonsil removed but Im a little worried about it, I know there a bigger risks due to age and Im also a singer, will this have an affect on my singing !?

You'll be fine!. i had mine taken out when i was 17!. Recovering sucked for me, but i stayed pretty drugged up!. you wont be able to eat much!. My doctor recommended krystals!. i think w/o the pickles, something about the bread helping the scabs fall off (its gross, i know)

I don't think your age is a factor you are still quite young!. However some people do say it changes their voice and you will not be able to eat solid foods for a week or more!. I was 23 when it was suggested that I have my tonsils removed!. At first I agreed to do it and then after doing more research backed out!. It's a serious operation with serious risks!. Weigh the pros and cons and see what you think is best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
