Sinus advice please and some cheering up :)?!

Question: Sinus advice please and some cheering up :)!?
Hi everyone,

Ok I posted a question about this a while ago, just going to ask question related to it again!.

From the end of this January to end beginning of March I had a bad virus (fever, chills, headaches, run down, anxiety, nausea, diorrhea etc!.!.!.) When I got over that I had 2 days when I felt better, but I was run down and my anxiey was really high!.

That next morning I woke up my head hurt, I felt stuffed up and I had green mucus running down my throat which was making me feel nauseous and sick!.

2 days ago I just finished taking the antibiotic Amoxicillin (I was 250mg, 3 times a day for a week)

When I was on them my head symptoms eased off alot, also my dizziness and green mucus decreased a bit!.

The first day after finishing them, I didn't feel very good again!. Still a small amount of pale green/yellow mucus, head pains and stuffy feeling nose/face!.

Yesterday I was at the docors again, and today is my first day of some more antibiotics (Clarithromycin 250mg, 2 times a day for a week)

She said she wasn't sure whether to give me some more, but I have had bad head pains and earache, stll green mucus so she did!.

Can anyone tell me when these head/mild earache pains will ease off, and if I will ever get better!? I am beginning to feel hopeless now :( I have been ill for sooooo long it feels hehe

Thanks xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Awww, sweetheart, sounds like you've been in the wars a bit!.

It's completely normal to be a bit down when you've been ill!. Give yourself a bit of a break!.

* Get plenty of rest, especially while you have a fever!. Rest helps your body fight infection!.
* Stop smoking, if you do, and avoid secondhand smoke, which can make symptoms worse!.
* Drink lots of fluids such as water and clear soups!. Fluids help loosen mucus!. Fluids are also important because they help prevent dehydration!.
* Gargle with warm salt water a few times a day to relieve a sore throat!. Throat sprays or lozenges may also help relieve the pain!.
* Avoid alcohol!.
* Use saline (salt water) nose drops to help loosen mucus and moisten the tender skin in your nose!.
* For your sinuses, try taking hot showers or steaming your face, this should help to clear them!.

There's also a lot of home remedies you can use to make yourself feel better:

* Eat spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom and roots like ginger, horseradish, garlic and onions!. It will help in building strength to ward off infections!.
* The use of a linseed poultice is very effective in the treatment of respiratory infection!. Place a hot poultice of linseed on the chest!.
* Soak yourself in a hot Epsom
