Post Nasal Drip wont stop?!

Question:

Post Nasal Drip wont stop?

I have been struggling to get a post nasal drip to stop after I had a respiratory infection around two weeks ago. (sore throat, sore chest etc).
Normally, If I have a cold, it disappears totally in around 4-5 days. My trouble is that I do not seem to be able to shake this infection off.
I can go about my day to day tasks at work but have to go to the loo and do a loud nose blow around 6 times per day.
It's faurly thick and clear but with a slight lime colour. I'm also swallowing continually as I just cant deal with it another way in an office.
My energy levels are also not what they should be.
Can anyone offer good advice on what is causing this and what to take to clear it up?
I would prefer not to take sinutab and the like and would like to get to the root of the problem.
I'm taking plenty of vitamin C etc to fight it off but it does not seem to be doing the usual trick.
Thanks to anyone who may have some sensible or professional advice! :-)

Answers:

It is time for a visit back to the doctor! It has been two weeks without improvement and the green color of the mucus indicates an infection. You cannot clear this up on your own...medical intervention is warranted. Please see a doctor as soon as possible so that you can feel better soon.
