Question:

What are the long-term side effects of taking ecospirin?

I have been taking ecospirin - a blood thinner- for the last 6 years. I am told that in the long run it may damages my kidney. I want to know whether it is true.

Answers:

I guess you take ASA for prevent of mi or stroke, the dosage usually low;81mg or 325mg daily. In this dosage the chance damage your kidney is not high and benefit higher then harm.ASA been use for many, many years and has been prove is safety drugs. If follow the guideline.
