Why do you think the media is ignoring the cases of avian flu in birds & peo!

Question:

Why do you think the media is ignoring the cases of avian flu in birds & people in Asia, Europe, and Africa?

The fatality rate in people world wide is over 60% and in Indonesia it’s 87%.

Scientists say the virus is mutating, and if it becomes easily transmissible from person to person it will cause a pandemic.

We will be told to stay at home to help reduce the number of infections. People should know that they can help themselves by storing nonperishable food, water, baby food, pet food, medicine, etc. But they don't know this if the media isn't covering the story.

Why aren’t we seeing articles about the spreading virus?

Answers:

Because if I am remembering properly, this is at least the third eyar that avian flu is hitting people. For the news media, this means the story is stale.

Now if a large number of people start dying, you will hear alot about it as it will again be a story they deem worthy of telling...

I work in helath care and I dee the preparation being made for a mjor outbreak of the flu. Kinda scary...
