Okay, my mom keeps having muscle spasms!?

She keeps getting knots and everything in her back, arms, and neck! What causes this? She went to the doctor and they gave her medicine and it hasnt been working, does anybody know how help?

I have severe muscle spasms, because I have severe nerve damage. First, the doctors put me on pills, like Flexeril, etc., but they didn't work so well. Now, I wear these big, soft, warm, nice patches, called Lidoderm Lidocaine Patches. They are prescription only. You can wear up to 3 of them for 12 hour period, then take them off for 12 hours, then start all over again I use them on my back, arms and on my legs, which are the worse. These things are like miracles. They help within 15 minutes and last the whole 12 hours. Even longer. Ask your doctor for these. Good luck!!
