So I went tanning and now I have.......?
a raised, itchy rash all over my chest. It didn't appear until several hours afterward. This is the second time this has happened. What could it be, and what do you think caused it?

I use the level 4 high pressure bed. This has never happened before.........The area is not burnt....it is quite tan. I know the risks of tanning and I'm going to go anyway....but thanks for your concern!

Whether it was the sun or a tanning bed, believe it or not you can become allergic to the tanning rays (from either).
If you are in the sun for too long, your skin will react to the overdose of the UV radiation and break out in what looks like hives.
Use a good sunscreen, keep the time of exposure less, and when you come in take a cool shower and apply aloe vera gel.
