How long do you have to be on cholesterol medicine?!


Question: How long do you have to be on cholesterol medicine!?
Ok, I just turned 24 and found out I have higher cholestorol then i should!. I am overweight for my height / age and i have to go on a low fat diet, and cut out all fast and fried foods (which I am)!. I was just wondering, how high does your cholestorol have to be for the doctor to PUT you on medicine, and my BIG question is, IF you get put on medication, do you only take it until it LOWERS your cholestorol, or do you have to take it forever!?!? I definetly plan to start the low fat diet now!. Cut down to ground turkey, boneless chicken breast, and I always use 2% cheese and fat free milk!. I think the reason it got so high is because Ive ate a LOT of fast food in the past 3 years (since I started my job as a police dispatcher) because of the hours!. If I cut everything down and try to walk more, will that help!?!? *Main question is about the meds* Thanks for all help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, I don't like any Statin (cholesterol medication)!. They are extremely dangerous (read the literature) and you will feel that your must stay on them for life (just what the Doctors want)!. Total cholesterol is not a good indicator!. Its the ratios!. The best is your Trigylceride total divided by your good HDL!. If it is less than 5, you are okay!. For women your HDL should be over 50 mg/dl!. There is a natural remedy that works for most people better than any statin with out side effects!. It called Waddle Juice!. Here the recipe:

==64 oz of 100% welches Red Grape Juice
==8 oz of Apple Cider Vinegar ( has to be apple cider vinegar)
==3 oz pack of liquid pectin ( Certo or Ball in the canning section at Grocery store)

Mix up throughly, Refrigerate and Drink 2 oz three times a day forever!.

People have reported drops in their cholesterol as much as 50 points with in a month and reduction in blood pressure!.

It all natural and you can make it your self!.

Most cholesterol and heart disease is caused by simple carbohyrates (sugar, bread, rice, potatoes, etc!.!.!.!.)!. Excessive insulin secretion causes the liver to produce more bad cholesterol and store more fat!.

Eat more protein!. Depending on your blood type, meat or vegetable!.
Type O and B eat meat and Type A and AB eat vegetable protein!.

If you do decide to take a statin, besure to take 300 mg of Q10 a day for ever!. This replaces the Q10 the Statin flush out of your muscles including your heart!.

Most people take it lifelong!. But, at your age, maybe not!.
