Its a disorder that causes fusion of your bones. Commonlly occurs in the pelvis and vertebrae. It is autoimmune and more common in males. This disorder can be really debilitating and cause problems walking and severe pain if it impinges on nerves, van cause problems with breathing if it affects the joints and nerves around the rib cage. Frequently also associated with conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes)
