i always feel congested especially when i wake up and i have to blow my nose every day more often than most people to feel ok. i'm a mouth breather and my nose often feels stuffy. but i asked my mom if i have allergies and she said i dont..

you might have been tested when you were younger, and showed no signs. They could have developed as you got older. I have the same problems as you, when i went to my allergist i was allergic to tree pollen, and that was causing some of my nasal problems (i also have problems with sinus passage ways as well which require surgery). However my allergist says that the tree pollen is highest around morning and usually subsides mid day, but if you live in the city it could last all day.
My suggestion, make an appointment with an ent (ears nose throat) and get checked out. They might do scans and stuff to see if you have sinsu problems. He probably will refer you to an allergist and you could get tested. I am going through much of the same as you (except i get bad sinus headaches 5-6 times a week) and i would have never known there was a problem if i didnt go to the ent. Goodluck
