Food allergies - does cooking reduce the chances of an allergic reaction?!

Question: Food allergies - does cooking reduce the chances of an allergic reaction!?
I had an allergic reaction to a piece of raw parsnip recently that sent me to the ER!. But I've had cooked parsnips before without any problems!. I am in the middle of getting tested for various food allergies right now, so I am sure I will be able to ask this question of the allergist when we have a final meeting and discuss the results!. But just wondering whether cooking a food such as tuna, shrimp, parsnips, oysters, etc!. would reduce the chances of an allergic reaction!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It certainly works for me and my allergies and im allergic to pretty much all raw fruit and vegetables!.

However im not to sure about the sea food allergy's because its slightly different from fruit and vegetables, and in your case because your allergic to sea food and parsnips i wouldn't be to sure either, so its probably best to just ask the professional!.

Good luck with your allergist, I hope that your results you get back are okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
