How to Calculate Mean Arterial Pressure?!

Question:

How to Calculate Mean Arterial Pressure?

systolic-diastolic=pulse pressure
120-80=40
(1/3)PP+diastolic=MAP
13.33+80= 93 mmHg
But now I am confused about HR x SV=CO
COxMap is TRP? This is what I am confused about. I am not sure how to calculate TRP. I am completely lost and tired!! Please help!!

MAP TPR and CO

Answers:

I assume TPR is the same as SVR.

SVR = MAP / CO. If you want to be more precise, use MAP-CVP instead of just MAP. A good, short explanation is in the source below.

Also, yes, CO = HR x SV. Stroke volume (SV) is the amount of blood pumped with each beat, heart rate (HR) is the number of beats per minute, so multiply them and you have the amount of blood pumped per minute, which is the cardiac output (CO).
